Scope and Content
Fonds consists of one series of memoranda produced by the European and North American Department (ENA) throughout its existence, 1950-1953. The memoranda reflect the Department's role in IMF missions to its countries; preparation of reviews of the members' positions for Executive Board discussion; examining specific policy matters with respect to a given country which were not covered by functional departments; and, making recommendations on par value proposals of members and proposed exchange transactions.
