Ámbito de contenido
Series consists of records maintained by the Immediate Office (INSAI) documenting the delivery and content of training courses offered by the Institute beginning from 1973. Most files typically include an outline and opening remarks regarding each course, correspondence and internal memoranda describing individual lectures and/or field visits offered during the course, weekly program, tentative schedule (a list of topics and lecturers prepared by the course organizer to the director), list of participants (with name, country, affiliated organization), and occasionally reports or background material relating to the courses such as case studies focusing on specific countries., Memoranda range from brief statements that a lecture was delivered, to detailed descriptions of courses and activities covering major topics such as structure and organization of the course, selection of participants, participant comments and feedback, improvements, and descriptions of visits to financial institutions. A few course reports in draft form were retained. Files are organized in numerical order according to course code and chronologically by year. A partial set of final and draft course reports (accumulated by Deputy Director U Tun Wai) are organized in chronological order by year (1976-1984) and are complemented by a set of 1986 reports transferred from de Larosière records (in the Office of the Managing Director fonds). There is no available set of 1985 reports, however these may be found within the specific course files in this series. Other missing gaps in the Course Files, 1981-1984, may be found in the INSAI Subject Files or English Division (INSEG) Course Files series.
