International Organizations Series is part of the Central Files Collection, mainly built by the Records Division of Secretary's Department. This Series comprises eight subseries based on the Central Files classification scheme as follows: I000 International Organizations, I100 United Nations, I200 Specialized Agencies and Associated Organizations, I300 Bank for International Settlements, I400 Intergovernmental Commodity Organizations, I500 Regional Intergovernmental Commodity Organizations, I600 Economic Development Conferences, and I700 Intergovernmental Organizations of Raw Materials Exporters.
Contents include IMF relations with all major international organizations, and regional and commodity organizations in the economic arena. This is a rich source of original records for the International Monetary Fund's relationships with other organizations with global and regional mandates. The largest subseries deals with the relations of the IMF with the United Nations.
Types of records include: correspondence, memoranda, cables, reports, minutes, proceedings, papers, speeches, clippings and ad-hoc publications.
