- Bereik en inhoudSeries consists of subject files of Morris Goldstein, Advisor for the Research Department (1981-1985). Goldstein created a few of these files prior to 1981, and a few files after 1985, as part of his work for other positions in the Research Department, but the bulk of these materials are from Goldstein's work as an Advisor. Goldstein was a member of the Fund's first three missions to China, and his files reflect research that he conducted and meetings that he participated in for these missions. Files in this series also reflect his work as a guest lecturer at the London School of Economics, and contain notes and reading lists from courses that he taught. Goldstein was a referee for several journals, and his notes and feedback on papers are included in this series. He also produced many papers himself, co-authored others, and presented his findings at conferences, all of which is evident in the files. Goldstein took a leave of absence from the Fund to work as a Senior Technical Advisor in the U.S. Treasury Department, and a few files in this series are from work he did in this capacity., Types of materials in this series include correspondence, memoranda, Board documents, handwritten notes, conference papers, cables, and minutes from meetings. Files are arranged in alphabetical order, and documents within each file are arranged in reverse chronological order.
