Series consists of materials specific to the operation of the IMF under Managing Director Ivar Rooth. Series includes departmental memoranda, correspondence, reports, Board memoranda, and other IMF-related publications. There are memoranda from the Treasurer's Department to Department Heads, Deputy Managing Directors and staff, all copies to the Managing Director. Topics include the market and the report of the UNESCO Statistical Commission. Correspondence includes country updates which include information on finances, banks, and outstanding payments, and invitations to international meetings. Annotated Executive Board minutes regarding use of IMF resources, with annotations, can be found in this series, as well as staff memoranda on developments in the ECA program., Series also includes files related to social events held by Managing Director Ivar Rooth, which include invitations, menus and guest lists for events and dinners held at the F Street Club in Washington, DC. Corrrespondence related to these events include acceptance and declination of invitations to the Managing Director to attend external receptions and dinners. This series also contains annotated toasts delivered by the Managing Director at retirements and farewell parties., The Administration Series also consists of staff-related files. Topics include benefits, retirement, including Pension Committee minutes, and leave without pay, and correspondence related to the Training Committee., Records are arranged in alphabetical order and reverse chronological order within each file.
