Series contains subject files of Andrew Crockett, Deputy Director of the Research Department (1982-1989). A few items in this series date back to 1979; these items are supporting documentation for specific subjects and were not created by Crockett. Files contain evidence of Crockett's work on subjects such as the Baker Initiative; the Brookings Panel; the Compensatory and Contingency Financing Facility; Economic Policy Committee Meetings; the Extended Fund Facility; Statistical Discrepancies; and the Groups of Seven, Ten, and Twenty-Four. Crockett generated memoranda, correspondence, and papers, but much of the materials in these files are copies of documents on which Crockett was copied. Types of documents in these files include memoranda, correspondence (incoming and outgoing), Board papers, handwritten corrections of papers, cables, and documents from other international organizations. Files are arranged alphabetically, and documents within files are arranged in reverse chronological order.
