The Levin chronological files covering Jonathan Levin's work with the Fiscal Affairs Department (FAD) and the Bureau of Statistics (BUR) were received together in one accession in FAD. One box containing FAD material was retained and can be found in the FAD Fiscal Review Division Records and the other material was transferred to BUR.

Series is open according to the Archives Access Policy. Files will be screened by reference staff for any time restrictions. Closed records were located in all boxes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 and are now retained in box 6.

Series consists of outgoing letters, incoming correspondence, internal memoranda, draft reports, mission planning documents, memoranda for file, and other related material made or received by Jonathan Levin while he was Division Chief of the Government Finance Division (BURGO). There is one file (1990-1993) of material created after Levin left the BURGO and was working in the Staff Contingency Fund. Correspondence primarily relates to personnel issues, division work plans, coordinating division work, technical assistance missions, IMF Institute planning, and other material related to the responsibilities of the BURGO. The files are arranged according to a numbering system applied to the files before being sent off-site, and this order is maintained.
