The General Files Series contains Jaques J. Polak's selection of topic-based files from: pre-International Monetary Fund; during his service on the staff of the IMF; and limited material reflecting IMF topics he was interested in while he was representing The Netherlands constituency on the Executive Board of the IMF. The files reflect some of Polak's associations and special interests: The League of Nations, SDRs and international liquidity, conditionality, and relations with the World Bank. Two files in this series entitled "International Liquidity 1956-1963" are of special interest since they record concurrent work going on at the IMF and with the Group of Ten at the time Polak was developing his Polak Model.
