Series consists of subject files made and received by the Bureau of Statistics Balance of Payments Division (BURBP). Materials include correspondence and other information related to projects with other international organizations such as the United Nations; administrative information related to the balance of payments course offered by the IMF Institute; various data management system documentation such as records related to the the FRANCS system; BURBP work projects; internal BURBP memorandum and memorandum with other IMF departments; and, materials related to the World Economic Outlook publication. Subject files are organized alphabetically and chronologically, with an exception of a later accrual appended on the end of the series, which is also arranged alphabetically.
